Tour No. 7- Karlovy Vary


Duration: 8 1/2 hours
An unforguettable visit to the world-famous spa in West Bohemia (about 130 km from Prague) founded by Czech king Charles IV in 1357. We will admire the pictoresque countryside of West Bohemia and its legendary hops fields - one of the necessary components used to brew the famous Czech beer. The city is located in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills.We will be able to taste the 12 selected medicinal mineral springs administered for different ailment treatments e.g. digestive tract diseases, stress and others. This is a city with beautiful façades, visited by world famous personalities like Goethe, Karl Marx, Freud, famous Czech composer Antonín Dvořák and others. Karlovy Vary is also the original source of such typical products as Becherovka liqueur, Moser glass and chocolate wafers.

Tour No. 8 - Konopiště
Duration: 4 1/2 hours
Tour to a lovely hunting castle about 35 km to the south of Prague. The Castle, built at the end of the 13th century, was rebuilt several times, with the last reconstruction taking place at the end of the 19th century when it was bought by heir of Austrian – Hungarian empire Francis Ferdinand D' Este, murdered in Sarajevo in 1914. The castle contains an impressive collection of historical weapons and steel armours of more than 6000 pieces, considered one of the most outstanding in Europe and also furnitures, paintings, carvings, stoves and a substantial collection of hunting trophies.

Tour No. 9 - Karlštejn

Duration: 4 1/2 hours
Tour to the Karlštejn castle about 40 km to the south west of Prague, a middle age fortress built by Charles IV to guard the royal and imperial jewels and also the relics of some the saints. From the castle you can admire a nice view of the picturesque Karlštejn town where you can buy a wide range of typical craftsmanship like Bohemia crystal, garnet, ceramic, textiles and others.

Tour No. 10 - Terezín



Duration: 4 1/2 hours
Tour to the city of Terezín, located about 60 km to the north of Prague. Terezín was founded in 1780 by Joseph II as a military fortress. During the Second World War it was turned into a ghetto and became the biggest concentration camp in Czechoslovakia during the war. A small fortress outside the city was turned into a Gestapo prison. More than 140 000 men, women and children from Bohemia, Moravia, Austria, Germany and other European countries were deported to Terezín.

Tour No. 11 - Kutná Hora



Duration: 5 1/2 hours.
Tour to the city of Kutná Hora, UNESCO listed town, about 65 km to the east of Prague. The city arose at the begining of the Middle Ages in the center of an extensive silver deposit and swiftly turned into the second most important city in Bohemia after Prague. We will see the centre of the city with gothic and baroque buildings. We also visit the gothic cathedral of St. Barbara with paintings, the Italian Court with its Royal Mint where famous Prague grosses and golden ducats were minted and the church of Sedlec rebuilt during the 18th century into a bonery with an inner decoration of human bones.

Tour No. 12 - Konopiště + Český Šternberk
Duration: 8 hours
Tour to the castle of Konopiště about 35 km from Prague (see description Tour No. 7). The tour continues to the Český Šternberk castle, the property of Šternberks noble family, with a rich collection of stuccos and a collection of historical guns.

Tour No. 13 - Bohemian glass factory


Duration: 4 1/2 hours
Tour to Nižbor glass factory about 35 km away from Prague. We will take a walk around one of the most important glass factories in Bohemia and we will experience some phases of glass production like blowing and handcutting. There is also possible to buy glass at outlet sale prices.

Tour No. 15 - Karlovy Vary + Mariánské Lázně


Duration: 10 hours
Tour to the city of Karlovy Vary (see description Tour No. 6). Then the tour takes us to the second most important spa in West Bohemia, Mariánské Lázně, the newer in this region, where medicinal waters are used for various treatments for metabolic, motor system, respiratory tracts diseases and gynecological disorders. A city of a very nice architecture from the second half of the 19th century and the most famous spa by the time of monarchy, also visited by many outstanding personalities from all over the world.

Tour No. 16 - Plzeň



Duration: 5 1/2 hours
Tour to the city of Plzeň, a birthplace of the famous Czech beer, production of local beer dates back even before 1842 when the famous beer brewery Pilsner Urquell was founded. We visit the Beer museum, considered the oldest one in the world and also the Plzeň Synagogue, considered the third biggest in the world. In this city there was also founded, in 1899, the Škoda Company.

Tour No. 17 - České Budějovice + Český Krumlov



Duration: 10 hours
During our trip to the city of Český Krumlov we will visit the city of České Budějovice, administrative, industrial and cultural center of South Bohemia. Its old part is a historical preserve and the seat of Budvar breweries (1894). The square of the city with the Black Tower, 72 meters high, is one of the largest in the country, with gothic, baroque and renaissance houses. The tour continues to Český Krumlov, UNESCO listed town, one of the most outstanding historical town preserves in Czech Republic, a city from the second half of the 13th century with gothic, renaissance and baroque monuments, that forms a unique complex. The tour includes a visit to the castle of Český Krumlov, the second most important in Bohemia after Prague Castle, with rich collections of gobelin tapestries, paintings, furnitures and the famous Mask Hall.

Tour No. 18 - One day round trip to Dresden – Germany



Duration: 10 hours
Round trip to Dresden in Germany, located 150 km to the north of Prague. A must in Dresden is the Zwinger, a master piece of barock arquitecture with some of the most important museums in Dresden such as the New Masters Galery with the Sixtin Madonna by Rafael and paintings of Rembrantd and Rubens, the Mathematical – Physical Hall and the Galery with the Porcelain Collection from Meissen and others. The historical city centre is good to walk by and we recommend you to visit the catolic imperial church (Hofkirche), the protestant Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche) completely rebuilt after its destruction by bombing in February 1945, the Opera Theatre (Semper Opera) and the Royal Residence where we strongly recommend you to visit the Green Vault with its works of craftmanship in precious metals. You will also have the possibility to enjoy the Elba view from the terrace “Balcon of Europe“, called this way by Goethe or even take a river cruise by the Elba.

Tour No. 19 - One day round trip to Vienna – Austria
Duration: 14 hours
Round trip to Vienna, the majestic capital of Austria, 310 km to the south - east of Prague. Vienna, located on the banks of the Danube with a great musical tradition, impressive and beatiful palaces, interesting museums and many different options for shoppings. In Vienna we will take you to the Opera Theatre, at the beginning of the luxury Kärntner strasse street, and located in the ring street, where you will find most of Vienna important monuments, such as the Hofburg Palace, The Federal Parliament, The Vienna Town Hall and others. We also recommend you the Mariahilfer street with many shoppings and do not forget to stop in a traditional Vienna coffee house to taste the delicious Sachr chocolate cake. If you are travelling with children you have to make a stop at the Prater, a world known funfair park.
